What do I want you to know about me?


I've been married for 22 years and am the very proud mom of Lucas (20), Olivia (18), Madelyn (16), and Grace (14). I'm in my sixth year of homeschooling our kids, although two have officially graduated! I love Jesus, a good iced vanilla latte, Spotify, lazy days, Madewell jeans, early Grey's Anatomy, vacations, the smell of citrus, and documenting my family's life.


I'm an Enneagram 9w1, an eternal optimist, ridiculously sentimental, and a firm believer that happiness is a choice, life is an adventure, and you should always say "thank you" and "I love you." I'm driven and determined, but naturally organized? Not so much. You wouldn't know that by the way I run my business...just don't go looking in my pantry.


Relationships have always mattered deeply to me. My parents have been married for 47 years, my in-laws for 53, and the longer I'm married myself, the more I understand just how much love, intention, and work it takes to build a life together.


Maybe that's part of why I love what I do so much.


I've been photographing people for 18 years, and in that time I've photographed hundreds of weddings and thousands of portrait sessions. But the thing I'm most proud of isn't the number of people I've photographed. It's the relationships I've made along the way.


I've watched couples walk down the aisle, then photographed their babies, growing families, and high school seniors. I've even been doing this long enough that some of those gap-toothed elementary-aged kids who once cheesed for my camera have grown up...and I've photographed their weddings.


I mean, COME ON. How amazing is that?!


That's the part of this job I'll never get over.
